Photos from Around the World - Castles

I'm in no way a world class photographer, in fact I consider the majority of my photography to be rather average. Nonetheless, photographs represent moments captured in time, memories of the experiences I've had overseas, and I thought that this might be a good idea for a regular segment to feature - photos of a similar theme from different cities around the world.

As an Australian, castles are novel to me, and as such, a large portion of my travels were spent staring at the magical beauty and magnificence.

If you were expecting bats circling Dracula's Castle, think again -
the Bran Castle is deceptively wholesome

Just like the country itself, Liechtenstein's castle is modest.

It's hard to miss the castle in Cardiff, situated on the main road.

Prague takes the title of being the first castle I've seen - an impressive start it was!

The charm of Cesky Krumlov stems from its glorious castle.

Bled castle perches high above the lake and town, offering glorious views.

Perhaps one of the most ostentatious and yet simultaneously stunning views: the Edinburgh Castle

You simply can't overlook the whimsical Las Vegas and Disney take on castles!

What's your favourite castle from around the world?
